What is the “Earn & Learn” Program?

This pathway is designed for Indonesian nurses to begin working as Nurse Assistant in Taiwan while preparing for their Taiwan nursing licensure exam.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Work as Nurse Assistant full time for 1 year

Start with a full-time Nurse Assistant job in Taiwan, earning up to IDR 21,000,000 /month

  1. Study part-time to prepare for licensure exam

Receive language training and attend review courses to prepare for Taiwan’s nursing exam (Mandarin required)

  1. Work as RN in Taiwan’s healthcare institution

Transition to a Registered Nurse role in Taiwan after passing the exam, earning at least IDR 29,500,000 /month

  1. Apply for Permanent Residency (PR)

Eligible to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) after required years of residence in Taiwan

Who can apply?

This program is open to:

  • Indonesian graduates with a Nursing Degree
  • Holders of a valid Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) – the Indonesian nursing license
  • No work experience needed, fresh graduates are welcome
  • Ready to work as a caregiver for one year before becoming an RN in Taiwan

Caregivers start at USD 1,000/month, while registered nurses start at USD 1,800/month.

Q: Is housing provided?

Housing is not directly provided, but we will assist you in finding a suitable place. Typical rent ranges from USD 200–300 per month.
