What is the “Earn & Learn” Program?
This pathway is designed for Indonesian nurses to begin working as caregivers in Taiwan while preparing for their Taiwan nursing licensure exam.
Here’s how it works:
Work as Caregiver full time for 1 year
Start with a full-time caregiver job in Taiwan, earning USD 1,000/month
Study part-time to prepare for licensure exam
Receive language training and attend review courses to prepare for Taiwan’s nursing exam (Mandarin required)
Work as RN in Taiwan’s healthcare institution
Transition to a Registered Nurse role in Taiwan after passing the exam, earning at least USD 1,800/month

- Holders of a valid Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) – the Indonesian nursing license

- Open to language and professional training in Taiwan
