HR Manager

Location: Manila, Philippines

Job Summary

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and HR strategy implementation. The HR Manager ensures that the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent to meet its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Oversee the interview and selection process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and the selection of the best-fit candidates.
  • Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives, open communication, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and career development.
  • Manage the performance review process, including setting performance standards, providing feedback, and developing performance improvement plans.
  • Assist in setting performance goals and objectives for employees, aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition programs to reward and motivate high performance.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development and training programs for employees.
  • Support career development initiatives, including mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the company.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations and labor laws.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct workforce planning and analysis to ensure the company has the right talent to meet current and future needs.
  • Manage the HR budget, including recruitment, training, and employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry or a similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software
