Job Summary
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our agency’s operations, including business development, client management, team leadership, and strategic planning. This role requires strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment or a related industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and drive business growth.
- Lead and motivate a team of recruitment professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships with clients to expand our client base and revenue streams.
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control costs to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity and data protection laws.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, and implement changes to improve our processes and services.
- Represent the agency at networking events, industry conferences, and other relevant forums to promote our brand and expand our network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools.
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
