Job Summary
As the Business Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of business development within the company to promote its longevity. Your duties would include working closely with other company executives and management teams, meeting with potential business partners and maintaining existing client relationships and monitoring market trends to come up with new business ventures. Other duties may include creating and presenting business proposals, performing market research and directing team members on ways to penetrate the market, identifying methods to increase productivity and company operations, and communicating potential changes with shareholders and other business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients through market research, networking, and lead generation, particularly in the healthcare industry.
- Study job orders to identify client needs, then craft targeted business proposals aimed at maximizing lead generation and market penetration.
- Efficiently oversee project progress, budget allocation, and team coordination to ensure the successful completion of job orders and projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and offering customized solutions.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, – competitive landscape, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business development initiatives and fulfill clients’ business requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Continuously enhance business development processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals to achieve individual and team targets
- Identify training needs and opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience & track record of success in business development or sales roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and make strategic decisions
- Proficient in English and possess excellent communication skills

- Resilient, results-driven and persuasive; able to work independently to achieve targets
- Previous experience in consultative selling or solution-based sales is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of current business development trends and best practices.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
